Whoa…

What can I say? The semester is reaching it’s halfway mark. Two weeks from Friday a friend and I will be leaving for Savannah and Florida for a week. What I want to know is this: how did this semester suddenly fly by?!
I’ve been working… a lot. While I’m making decent money for a full time student, I’m also going just slightly crazy – two jobs (one of which I’m a supervisor for) while writing two papers (one of which is a for serious thesis) while going to class and getting good grades while on the equestrian team is really showing my limits. I think that when I’m old and have a real grown-up job one of these days, I’ll always be able to look back at this semester and be like “Danielle, don’t be lazy… you did more in college than you’ll probably do ever again.” Or something like that.
I’ve been going so incredibly crazy that I’ve had no time for art, despite the fact that I’m in two or three (I really can’t remember right now) studio classes. I really hope to get some stuff completed and up as soon as I possibly can.
So… in preparation for the upcoming trip to Florida and Savannah, here is a picture my cousin took of my friend JC and I while we were visiting in September last semester.

on 26/02/2010 at 21:05I think it’s strange how being so busy can be so hectic, and yet so satisfying (in hindsight, perhaps). Stay sane!
I don’t know what happened but somehow between the last time I visited and this time, the background image and the background color don’t match up anymore — I’m thinking it’s my fault when I coded it but I swear it wasn’t off before!
I’m thinking it should be #70593d instead of #755e3c.
